Subaru showed a successor to the S203, and S204 Impreza special performance models with the new S205, which benefits from chassis, engine and styling upgrades. Billed as the top-performance model in the lineup WRX STI, Subaru says, that makes R205-where R stands for Road Sport – full use of specially developed features and performance parts for the WRX STI spec C -model.

Subaru Impreza WRX STi also tweaked the engine through the adoption of an exclusively designed turbo with ball bearings for the turbine axle, specially tuned ECU and a new sports hall with a reduced backpressure exhaust. The result is an increased power of 325 hp and 431Nm or 317.9 pounds-feet of torque.
