New Ford Fiesta ST 2011 Five-Door Concept Available in LA Auto Show
Ford Fiesta ST, the concept debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, but if you remember that the show car at the three-door Fiesta, which is not available here, was based in the United States.

Now Ford is showing off a good five-door version of the Fiesta ST, adjusted for the Los Angeles Auto Show in two weeks premiere. Ford tells us that the Fiesta ST is purely a concept now, but the fact that both the three-and five-door variants of the concept are made, makes us believe that eventually we will have a production version. What is more, says Ford’s own press release: “The five-door Fiesta ST concept shows promise for a performance model available worldwide.” Let’s hope. Like the three-door concept from Frankfurt, the five-door Ford Fiesta ST with new EcoBoost 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine good for 180 horsepower and propelled 177 pound-feet of torque. Like its big brother, uses the Focus ST, Focus ST concept of a front-wheel-drive setup, with power to the wheels is done in a six-speed gearbox.
Speaking of the Focus ST, we have seen the production three-door car next to the Fiesta ST in Frankfurt, but Ford has announced that the left-hand drive, North American-spec version of the car in Los Angeles Premiere, as well. The Focus ST is Ford’s 2.0-liter EcoBoost four, well driven for 250 hp and 250 pound-feet of torque and includes features such as Recaro seats, a performance-tuned suspension and better wheels, tires and brakes.
