BMW K1300 GT 2009 Recalled On Steering Wheel Problems
BMW has recalled the 2009 BMW K1300 GT, K1300 S motorcycle on the problem parameters on the steering wheel. Read the information below. Manufacturer: BMW of North America; Model Year: 2009; Models Affected: K1300 GT, K1300 S; NHTSA Campaign Number: 09V384000; Problem: BMW is recalling certain model year 2009 motorcycles.
Switches on the steering wheel for both indicators and the need for engine / motor functions start to fail. In this case, the signs and / or emergency services engine-off/start functions would be abolished. In some cases, the engine can also cause increased risk of a crash. Corrective action: Dealers will check and replace the necessary components for free. The manufacturer has not yet owner notification schedule. Owners may contact BMW at 1-800-831-1117.
