One of the more unique features of the CR-Z is the 3-mode drive system. This allows the driver to adjust the driving experience with the real situation or personal preference.

The default position is normal. So if you have the key always start in normal mode, which provides default settings for all systems running.
Sport mode allows the driver to exercise the CR-Z car enjoy to the fullest. In Sport mode, the CR-Z uses the electric motor more aggressively, allowing faster acceleration and gas response. Sport Mode provides sharper steering feel, great for the round section of Public Communications.
If you’re stuck in traffic on the highway, you can click on ECON ™. This will optimize the performance of vehicle accessories and load for maximum efficiency. 3-mode drive, CR-Z is a versatile machine and gives drivers ultimate control over how the car should perform. [via cr-z]
